Hello Hockey Parents, Players, Coaches, Members, Sponsors and Future Prospects!
 I hope this letter finds you and your families enjoying the summer.
First, let me say ‘thank you' to all our members for making my first year with the Jaguars such a success. It is because of you and your support that the Jaguar Hockey Program made progress this past season and will continue to grow with new developments during the 2008-2009 Season.
Below I have highlighted some achievements, continued progress, and exciting new developments for the club as we continue to work towards becoming one of the finest hockey programs in the Midwest .
New Developments:
- New coaches will be mentored by Steve Maltias, a seasoned veteran and former Chicago Wolves player and winner of the Calder Cup. Coach Maltias will be returning for his second year with the Jaguars. Cody Staehely and Eric Fredrickson, former Jaguar players, are returning to the club and into coaching positions at the squirt level.
- Off-ice conditioning with a personal instructor will be offered on Monday nights along with power skate for all teams.
- Our ice surface is new and clean and bright locker rooms have been remodeled and are in good shape.
Continued Progress:
- Tami House builds our learn to skate program and long time coach Derrick Knapp helps develop our pre-hockey and mite programs.
- Top teams will compete at the highest level possible.
- We continue to educate our parents and train our players to compete at the highest level possible within their skill sets and desires.
Achievements:
- We continue to retain and promote coaches , assistant coaches and players for the better of the Jaguar Hockey Club;
- Develop Jaguar players;
- Motivate, encourage and challenge players to take the next step;
and
- Increase enrollment at all levels.
My personal mission statement is to "give back to others what I have experienced in my hockey career. To share and demonstrate with the players, the coaching staff and the parents the importance of hard work, honesty, dedication and commitment, which will enhance the lives of all on and off the ice."
